Parker-Grace’s Birth Story: A VIDEO chronicle of a peaceful Hypnobirth

Birth of Parker-Grace_142I’ve shared Morgan-Lee’s birth story with you(If you’ve missed it, start here.). It may be a bit long and verbose, but (hopefully) still beautiful. Admittedly, I don’t I think I actually did enough justice to its beauty. But I suppose, as with most birth stories, that may be something that a mother may never get right in the written word, and it will, instead, forever only live on, very clearly, in my head.

Parker-Grace’s birth story, however, I’ve decided that instead of letting you read it…I’ll show it to you! You know what they say about pictures and a thousand words, right? So perhaps I’ll let you do the maths on words for a video!!! It is a very personal view into a monumental day in our lives. One that I’m very happy to share with you.

It starts off at Grandma’s, where we drop off our eldest(and then, our only) beasty, enjoy some tea and then head out to hospital before peak hour traffic hits. All the way to meeting big sister.

Here is Parker-Grace’s birth story, as told by Marysol BlomerusCape Town’s Premium Birth Photographer. Click this link for the video. (Especially sized for mobile!)

By the way, for any of the feint-hearted who fear that my lady bits are on show – fear not!! 🙂 There’s none of that. Its just the story of the day Parker-Grace came into this world.

  4. This video is so beautiful and it bring tears to my eyes every time I see it. Thanks for posting it, Tracey. Marysol did a wonderful job with this video. I hope she continues doing this beautiful work. It is such a gift to the parents and their families. Morgan-Lee and Parker Grace will love being able to see this when they are grown. Living so far away from family, I have missed out on so much of the important moments in your life, Tracey. This video helps me feel like I was there and part your and Mike’s beautiful experience. Pictures really do paint more than a thousand words.

    • She truly has a gift for her craft, and I hope she sees your comment,so that she can witness how far down the line of family her work is truly treasured. And the gaps it bridges.

  5. Wow, this video is absolutely beautiful…had me smiling and bawling my eyes out at the same time. So beautifully captured 🙂
